What is BodyWise?

Use BodyWise to track your health & fitness and upgrade to BodyWise PT to have our training engine analyze your data to deliver personal training advice unique to your body, lifestyle and activity.

What is the easiest way for me to log results and record data?

The more that technology tracks without you having to do anything, the easier it’s going to be. If you have an iPhone 5S or newer, you can track your steps and movement via Healthkit.

BodyWise syncs from Healthkit, Fitbit and Jawbone.

These devices can automatically track weight, steps taken, distance covered as well as your sleep patterns. We can use that information to tell a whole deal about your lifestyle such as calories burned, your Body Mass Index and overall progress towards goals.

How often should I log results?

Logging results daily provides the most accurate picture of your health and wellness. When we don’t track daily, it’s often the days that we let ourselves down that we don’t log.

Be honest with your logging and you’ll become more mindful and achieve better results.

Do I always have to enter my exercise results?

The more data that is given to BodyWise, the more we know about you and the more we are able to help assess the areas for you to improve on. If you have a FitBit or Jawbone most of your exercise data will be automatically entered once synced.

What are BodyForce points?

BodyForce points are a rewards based system which helps motivate you and rewards you when you achieve goals. Points are awarded for simply logging results, working out and achieving goals.

There are a number of different levels for you to achieve so level up and become a better fitness warrior!

With BodyForce, an obese smoker can get as many points as a clean-living marathon runner if they are taking positive steps and making progress. BodyForce rewards you for positive actions and progress made towards a goal, whether it be weight loss, cutting down on caffeine or quitting smoking.

It’s all about a better you.

What devices can I connect with BodyWise?

Currently BodyWise syncs with Fitbit and UP by Jawbone account, as well as activity tracking directly through your iPhone via Healthkit.

What apps can I connect with BodyWise?

BodyWise connects with the Apple Health, Fitbit and Jawbone apps. BodyWise has been designed as a replacement for many individual apps. Instead of having one calorie counter, movement tracker, running app, etc., BodyWise lets you track it all and uses that information in the one place to provide an overview of your wellness and improvements made.

Does BodyWise share my data with anyone?

No.┬áRead our privacy policy for more information┬ábut we don’t sell or share your data with any third party companies.

Are my results public?

From the very moment you open BodyWise and log your first results, your results will be 100% private. If you have a friend or colleague that you want to challenge and use for support, you can nominate them as a training partner. Your results will be 100% private to everyone but you and your training partner.

How do I add and remove things to track?

You can adjust what you’re┬átracking by tapping on the ‘settings’ cog icon in the top left of your screen. Within there, tap on ‘edit what I track’.

Areas to track will show a tick next to them. Once you have ticks on only the areas that you’d like to track, tap the white tick in the header to save.

How do I add & remove training partners?

To add a new training partner, pull out the menu from the left and select ‘Social’. Here you can select up to 4 training partners to compete and train with. Click ‘Add New Training Partner’ to find friends that are using BodyWise.

BodyWise uses Facebook to find, add and invite friends so you’ll be asked to share your friends list in order to select a training partner.

What do I do if I forget my password?

If you signed up via email rather than Facebook and have since forgotten your password, you may go to the sign in via email screen and then click the forgotten password link. A new password will be generated for you and emailed to your registered email address.

Can I access my BodyWise account online?

Not currently, however it remains on our to-do list.

Can I export my data?

Unfortunately not yet however we’ve built our databases in a way that allows us to add it. It is on our priority list of features to add shortly.
